Hurry Up and Wait is a podcast for the military spouses, personnel, or anyone else interested in how people manage the crazy life that comes along with the military. The podcast host Carlee shares tips, tricks, advice, and personal stories to help guide the listener on their military adventure. The goal of the podcast is to inform, inspire, and make your military spouse life a little easier by hearing about it from someone who has been there. 

Carlee is an army wife currently living in Naples, Italy where her husband and her are stationed. Her husband has been in the army for eight years and they have been together for ten years and married for six. Carlee has two dogs and no kids. 

Meaning behind the podcast name?
Hurry Up and Wait is a common saying in the military. You hurry in order to complete a certain task, or arrive at a certain destination, by a specified time; only for nothing to happen at that time, often because other required tasks are still awaiting completion. This is something Carlee is all too familiar with since she is an over-thinker type-A planner.
